About The Festival

The Village of Milford on Sea is a truly extraordinary place to live and visit. One of Britain’s few coastal villages, it boasts beautiful surroundings, cliff-top walks and accessible beaches that overlook views of The Needles Lighthouse and the Dorset Purbecks. Milford’s very own arts and music festival is a unique event. Taking place over a week during the summer, it attracts thousands of residents and visitors to local venues and onto the Village Green to enjoy a huge variety of musical and artistic entertainment.

At festival time, this vibrant community comes together in the heart of the Village to create and celebrate a diverse range of local art and music. The event prides itself on unearthing new local talent, and in recent years we have seen performances from Saints of Sin, The Manatees, and Daughters of Davis. This year we’re celebrating fifty years since the “Summer of 69” with the moon landing and flower power and the memorial to Cornwallis.

Featuring performances, workshops and exhibitions, the Festival has become a must-see event in the New Forest’s summer calendar. If you have any questions or would like to get involved in the event, please email us on info@milfordfestival.com
