1920’s Gin Palace 6th April Fun-Raiser

“Join us and dress up in your best frocks and tails (or not) and be transported back in time for a fabulous evening of 1920’s fun. With canapés and cocktails, ragtime music and a casino there will be something for everyone. The Polly Morris comedy band will lift your spirits even higher as you enjoy the buffet. Then it’s time for the grand finale watching the Braces and Laces troop dazzle you with their fancy footwork which you can take on board for dancing the rest of the night away with the FB Pocket Orchestra.  Theyll take you back to the hot jazz, blues, ragtime and popular dances of the 1920/30s and earlier. It’s set to be a fun filled evening – don’t miss out, book your tickets today”

Join us for the festival’s first of many fabulous nights out. We will be going back in time to celebrate the end of 1918 for this year’s theme of “The Year of the Poppy” and to celebrate this momentous occasion we will be raising money for the Festival and the Royal British Legion.

This evening will be a spectacular of entertainment, starting with canapes, and cocktails in the casino and bar with tables for blackjack, and roulette or wander over to the Club for the first band to entice you to dance or sit. Then giggle over the fabulously yummie dinner while the comic band play you merry tune. And finish the night off with a proper swing to some ragtime jazz.
